1. Who we are and how the service works
These terms apply to sellanythingtt.com, operated under the SellAnythingTT brand by the operator identified above, referred to as “we”, “us” or “the platform”. We provide a managed marketplace in Trinidad and Tobago. Sellers offer their own items; buyers purchase them through the platform. Unless a listing expressly identifies us as the seller, we act as the seller’s disclosed marketplace and collection agent, rather than the owner or manufacturer of the item. We review listings, receive payment for the transaction, arrange seller collection, handle transportation and one combined delivery, and account to the seller for the agreed net proceeds.
A listing approval is permission to advertise that exact version. It is not a guarantee of ownership, authenticity, condition, safety or fitness. Sellers remain responsible for accurate descriptions and their items; we remain responsible for the services we agree to provide. Any rights or responsibilities that the law makes mandatory still apply.
Garage sale albums and vehicle advertisements
Garage sale albums group up to 50 separate, individually priced items under one seller album. Each item is subject to ordinary moderation and progressive commission. Eligible small and medium items use normal checkout and the standard delivery rate, while large or bulky items require an agreed separate transport quotation before purchase. Garage sale items are excluded from the general marketplace feed, but their item pages remain available inside the album.
Vehicles use an advertising-only service. The TT$99 fee is a one-time fee to submit a vehicle advertisement for review and publication, not a commission on the vehicle price. SellAnythingTT does not collect vehicle purchase money, guarantee a sale or buyer enquiries, or act as a vehicle dealer, escrow agent, inspector, insurer, finance provider, transfer agent or vehicle delivery service. Listing approval does not establish ownership, title, mileage, condition, roadworthiness or a buyer's identity.
Vehicle sellers must own or be authorized to advertise the vehicle and must describe it accurately. Vehicle buyers and sellers arrange and take responsibility for their own inspection, meetings, due diligence, negotiation, payment clearance, keys, insurance, taxes and legal ownership transfer. Never rely on payment screenshots or an unverified manager's cheque to release keys or a vehicle. See our vehicle safety information and disclaimer.
The TT$99 advertising fee is payable before submission for review. Card payments also include WiPay’s processing fee, paid by the advertiser and disclosed before payment. The current estimated card total is TT$104.17; bank transfer remains TT$99. We do not charge a vehicle sale commission. Any applicable legal refund rights and non-excludable rights continue to apply. Nothing in these terms limits liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded in Trinidad and Tobago.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18, give accurate information, use an email address you control and protect your password and authenticator. One account can buy and sell after email confirmation, subject to eligibility. Additional identity or contact verification may be requested where needed for security, fraud prevention or a specific transaction. Verification does not guarantee a person's identity or trustworthiness. Tell us promptly if your account, contact information or payment details are compromised.
Do not impersonate another person, create sham purchases or bids, evade an account restriction, tamper with the website, scrape private information, or use stolen payment instruments. We may restrict an account or listing to investigate an actual safety, fraud, policy or payment issue. Contact support for review. Restrictions do not erase existing payment, refund or delivery obligations.
3. Seller commitments
List only an item you own or are authorised to sell. Describe its condition, faults, accessories, dimensions and collection requirements honestly. Use up to eight relevant photos you have the right to publish. Remove private information from photos and descriptions. You give us permission to store, resize and display your listing content for the marketplace and its transaction history. You keep your underlying rights.
Submitting a listing authorises us to advertise the approved version, accept the buyer’s payment on your behalf, collect and transport the item, and deduct the commission you accept for that version. The current rate for new submissions is progressive tiers of the item sale price. The submission form shows the actual applicable rate. Seller collection and logistics are included in that commission; we do not add a separate seller pickup charge. A later default-rate change does not change a previously accepted version or existing order.
Keep the item available, give a workable private pickup address and disclose stairs, access, size, fragile contents and other transport needs before approval. Do not accept a platform order for an unavailable item. Changes require a new reviewed version. We may pause an unsafe, inaccurate or unavailable listing and arrange the appropriate transaction resolution.
4. Prices, checkout and payment
All marketplace amounts are in Trinidad and Tobago dollars, shown as TT$1,200. For eligible standard delivery, checkout shows the item prices, total and one TT$35 delivery charge for the checkout to one address. Adding more eligible items or sellers does not multiply that standard fee. Bulky, difficult-access or special-handling items may require a separate transport quotation accepted before purchase. Such items must not proceed through standard checkout until the complete charge has been confirmed. Separate eligible standard checkouts, including separate auction wins, are separate deliveries and each carries one TT$35 charge. Bulky-item transactions are not charged this flat rate.
A reservation is not confirmation that payment has reached us. Bank-transfer payment is confirmed only after we verify the actual credited funds and match them to the order. A screenshot, receipt upload, WhatsApp message or bank instruction alone does not mark an order Paid. Pay the exact total to the account and reference shown on your private order page within its stated deadline. Contact support about a late, duplicate or incorrect transfer rather than sending again.
Card checkout is offered only when enabled. Card details are entered on WiPay’s hosted page, not in our forms or WhatsApp. Eligible debit and credit cards depend on the provider and your bank. Customers pay WiPay’s processing fee in addition to the order amount, including delivery. The current estimate is 3.5% plus TT$1.70. WiPay calculates and discloses its final fee and total before payment. The same rule applies to garage sale purchases and vehicle advertising fees. Existing hosted payments keep their original fee agreement. Seller commission is unchanged and no extra card fee is deducted from seller earnings. Bank transfer has no platform processing fee. Your bank may impose its own charges. A browser return from a card page is not proof of a successful payment. If the result is uncertain, stop and let us reconcile the attempt before another payment. All managed marketplace payments must use our official electronic payment instructions. Cash on delivery, cash at pickup or delivery, and cash collected by our couriers are not accepted. Couriers must never be asked to receive, carry or remit customer payments.
Unpaid reservations may expire under their displayed deadline. Contact support if money was sent before or after expiry. We will reconcile an actual receipt before promising an allocation or refund. We do not automatically reuse an unmatched receipt for another buyer or order.
5. Selected auctions
Most items use Buy Now. Only specifically approved listings with separate auction-format approval may accept bids. The auction rules explain the starting price, optional private reserve, optional Buy-It-Now, minimum increments and private maximum bidding. Earlier accepted maxima have priority in a tie. A competitive bid accepted in the last two minutes extends the end to two minutes after that acceptance. The server record determines the result.
An accepted maximum cannot be reduced or withdrawn through the website. Contact support immediately about an error or suspected account misuse. If declared the winner, you commit to paying the recorded winning amount plus one TT$35 delivery charge within 24 hours of the server’s winning result. You are not automatically charged simply by bidding. An unpaid winner may lose the reservation; a runner-up is never automatically charged. We may suspend or cancel an auction for a documented safety, eligibility, listing or payment problem and notify affected participants.
6. Collection and delivery
sellanythingtt.com handles transportation. The normal delivery estimate is 3 to 5 business days after payment confirmation. Business days exclude weekends and verified closure dates in our operating calendar. The estimate is not an exact appointment; we contact the seller and buyer about access and scheduling. Weather, ferry availability, unsafe access, item discrepancies or other actual operational problems may require an updated schedule. We do not silently add another TT$35 because we reschedule the same combined delivery.
We record collection and delivery evidence. Check the delivered items and report missing items, damage, material description differences or non-delivery through the order as soon as possible. A failed delivery attempt is not verified receipt and does not start the 48-hour completion timer. If you cannot attend an agreed appointment, contact us promptly.
7. Held funds and seller payouts
We record buyer money as held for the transaction until receipt is accepted, or 48 elapsed hours pass after actual recorded delivery without an unresolved dispute or other blocking hold. This is an internal transaction ledger and managed-payment arrangement, not a claim that we operate licensed escrow, a bank account for you, an interest-bearing deposit or a stored-value wallet.
An advertised product does not create earnings. We pay sellers only once an item sells, we receive and clear the buyer\u0027s payment, the order is completed and all buyer acceptance, reconciliation, dispute and finance checks are satisfied. Completion and payout are separate. Seller proceeds become eligible only after the applicable completion, clearance, reconciliation and hold checks, using the commission agreed for that item. Sellers must securely provide an authorised bank account before submitting regular product or garage sale listings. We remit only by bank transfer to a finance-approved destination and keep a payout log. We do not guarantee an instant payout. A card capture can remain unsettled even when an order is Paid.
For an item sold for TT$1,000 at progressive tiers commission, the seller’s normal net is TT$924. The buyer pays TT$1,035 for a checkout containing only that item. The buyer’s TT$35 charge is not deducted again from the seller’s TT$924. Refunds, chargebacks or other agreed or legally required adjustments can change the final entitlement. A justified seller portion arising after payout may create a recorded recovery balance; paid history is not rewritten. We explain the calculation and provide a route to dispute it.
8. Problems, returns and refunds
Use the relevant order’s dispute function and provide the facts and available evidence. If you cannot access the account, contact support with the order reference. An unresolved case blocks the affected payout while we investigate. Our returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms.
The 48-hour automatic-completion period is an operating rule. It is not a blanket deadline extinguishing a legitimate claim or any mandatory legal right. A review may result in a documented full or partial refund, return, replacement where actually agreed and available, delivery remedy or rejection with reasons. We do not promise that every change-of-mind request is refundable or impose an automatic “all sales final” rule.
Refund amounts, any return requirement and treatment of the original TT$35 delivery fee are recorded for the individual case, subject to applicable mandatory rights. Do not send an item to an unconfirmed address. Financial refund and physical return are separate events. We verify the required return and the actual external refund outcome before marking those steps complete. Bank and provider processing times are outside our direct control.
9. Safety, reviews and privacy
Our prohibited items policy applies across every category. A category’s existence does not mean every item in it can be accepted. Report a suspect listing using its report control. After a completed purchase, leave a truthful review based on the actual transaction. Reviews can be moderated for abuse, private information, manipulation or other policy breaches; criticism alone is not a reason to hide a review.
The Privacy Notice explains how we handle account, delivery, verification and transaction information. A privacy acknowledgement is not permission to send unrelated marketing. We never need your bank password, full card details or card security code through our site’s support channels.
10. Records, changes and governing law
Keep your order, payment and payout records. You are responsible for taxes and reporting that apply to your own selling activity; we are responsible for our own obligations. The website’s reports do not decide whether a seller is carrying on a business or resolve anyone’s tax status.
We may update these terms prospectively and publish the effective date and version. Material changes should be brought to affected users’ attention before new commitments. We do not silently change an existing order’s price, accepted commission or delivery allocation. If the service closes, existing customer and seller balances must still be reconciled and resolved.
These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, subject to any mandatory rights and jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us first so the issue and requested remedy can be recorded. Nothing here excludes a responsibility or remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude. The operator and contact details above identify who to contact about this service.
