Auction rules · auction-rules-v1
Bid with a clear budget.
Only selected items approved by sellanythingtt.com are auctions. Most listings use Buy Now. Both listing approval and separate auction-format approval are required before bidding opens.
Your maximum stays private
Enter the most you are willing to pay in TTD. We bid automatically for you only as much as needed, up to your maximum. You can increase your maximum, but cannot lower or withdraw an accepted maximum through the website. An earlier accepted maximum wins a tie. Staff and sellers cannot bid on their own auctions; staff bidding is blocked.
Minimum increments
The minimum increase is TT$5 below TT$100, TT$10 from TT$100 to below TT$500, TT$20 from TT$500 to below TT$1,000, TT$50 from TT$1,000 to below TT$5,000, and TT$100 from TT$5,000. A proxy maximum can cap the final price partway through an increment.
For an auction starting at TT$100 without reserve, a first maximum of TT$300 displays TT$100. A competing TT$150 maximum makes the earlier bidder lead at TT$160.
Reserve and Buy-It-Now
An optional reserve is the seller’s approved minimum sale amount. Its value stays private, but the page shows whether it is met. A maximum meeting reserve can raise the displayed price to reserve. No winner is declared below reserve. Optional Buy-It-Now is available only before the first accepted bid. Its unpaid reservation pauses bidding until payment or safe release.
The end can extend
A competitive bid accepted in the final two minutes resets the end to two minutes after acceptance. A private cap increase that creates no competitive public bid does not extend the auction. The server clock and accepted transaction determine timing; a phone’s countdown is informative.
Winning and payment
Bidders need an active account, a confirmed email address and bidding enabled on the item page. WhatsApp verification is optional. Give your private delivery address before your first bid. A winning checkout is created after the server determines the winner. You have 24 hours from that recorded result to pay. The total is your winning item price plus one TT$35 delivery charge. Each auction win has its own checkout and one combined delivery to its address.
Accepted delivery rules: sellanythingtt.com handles transportation; estimated delivery is 3 to 5 business days after payment confirmation. Funds stay held until receipt acceptance or 48 elapsed hours after verified delivery without an unresolved dispute, subject to clearance and finance checks. Seller logistics are included in commission.
Bank evidence starts review and does not prove receipt of funds. Card entry stays on the payment provider’s page. A payment timeout requires reconciliation before another attempt. An unpaid winner may lose their reservation; a runner-up is never charged or promoted automatically. An eligibility or payment problem at closure may suspend the auction for staff review.
These operating rules accompany the Marketplace Terms, Privacy Notice and Returns and Refunds Policy. The 48-hour completion period does not remove a legitimate claim or any mandatory right.
