Business contact address: Trinidad and Tobago

This notice explains how the sellanythingtt.com operator identified above handles personal information for its managed marketplace in Trinidad and Tobago. Contact us using the details above or our Contact page about privacy, account access, corrections or a suspected data problem.
What we collect
Account information includes your email, display name, authentication records, account status, roles where relevant, contact phone numbers where provided, and historical verification records where applicable. Authentication services manage passwords and authenticator factors. Signup records can include the policy versions and acknowledgement time supplied through our signup form. These acknowledgements are not identity documents or staff permission grants.
Listing information includes descriptions, condition and faults, photos, public town and region, private pickup instructions, moderation decisions and the fee terms accepted for a submitted version. Transaction information includes your cart, watchlist, private delivery address and phone, orders, auction bids, private proxy maxima, payment references, proof uploads, reconciliation, collection and delivery evidence, disputes, refunds, payout methods and payout history.
Support and security records include messages you submit, case attachments, staff actions, verification references, relevant request and server logs, and information you send through email or WhatsApp. Do not upload unnecessary identity documents, a full bank statement, unrelated messages, card details or other people’s personal information. Crop or redact unrelated details before submitting evidence.
Vehicle advertisements and garage sale albums
For garage sale albums we use seller names, album titles, product descriptions, prices and photos to display grouped items. Each individual item follows the regular purchase and delivery process and related information handling.
For vehicle advertisements we use the vehicle make, model, year, mileage, location, condition, asking price, description, up to ten photographs and the seller's supplied contact number. Approved vehicle details and the seller's advertised phone number are visible to the public, and buyer questions and seller replies can be publicly visible. We also record the vehicle listing fee payment reference and administrative review decisions. Do not put personal addresses, bank information, identity documents or sensitive registration information in advertisements, photographs or public questions.
Vehicle enquiries and replies can trigger account notifications and service email. Vehicle purchase payments and legal ownership transfers take place directly between buyers and sellers, not through SellAnythingTT. Contact us to report misuse or ask about personal information.
Why we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts; verify contact information when needed; review and publish listings; manage bids and prevent manipulation; reserve items; reconcile payments; collect and deliver goods; investigate reports and disputes; make and document refunds and seller payouts; maintain accurate financial records; and send service updates. We use audit records to investigate errors, fraud and misuse.
We do not sell personal information. The current service does not use advertising trackers or a marketing analytics SDK. We do not treat account creation or a Privacy Notice acknowledgement as consent to unrelated promotional messaging. If optional marketing is introduced, its purpose and choice must be explained separately.
What other people can see
Approved listing details, product photos, public seller information, published ratings and reviews, and a limited auction history are public. Public auction history uses bidder aliases rather than exposing private maxima. A review can show an abbreviated buyer display name. Public content may be copied, indexed or cached by others, so keep private information out of it.
Buyers see their own orders. Sellers see their own listings, collections and earnings; the seller dashboard does not disclose a buyer’s private delivery address. Assigned drivers receive the contact, location and item information needed for their actual jobs. Authorised operations, finance, support and moderation staff receive access appropriate to their role. Bank details, private proxy maxima, finance evidence and staff-only case notes are not public.
Participants in a dispute can see the messages and attachments shared in that case. Staff-only notes and restricted financial evidence are handled separately. We may disclose relevant information to banks, payment providers, insurers or public authorities when necessary for a real transaction, investigation, legal obligation or protection of rights, with access limited to the purpose.
Service providers and international processing
We use Supabase for the database, authentication, file storage and auction updates; Render for website hosting and deployment; Resend for account and service email; WiPay when hosted card checkout is enabled; and WhatsApp/Meta when you choose that contact channel. Our business bank processes transfers. Those services can process information in countries outside Trinidad and Tobago under their own service and privacy terms. We do not claim all data stays within Trinidad and Tobago.
Card numbers and security codes are entered on WiPay’s hosted payment page. Our application records transaction identifiers, amounts, outcomes and reconciliation information, rather than collecting those card credentials. A WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp; its own device, account and privacy settings also apply. Email and WhatsApp messages are not a substitute for the private order’s payment or delivery records.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, private storage for transaction evidence, verified staff roles, staff authenticator checks, audit records and server-side validation. Private seller pickup content and payout-bank details, including account holder, bank name, bank branch, account type and account number, use application encryption. These details are restricted to the seller and authorised finance staff for remittances, not shared with couriers or buyers. This does not mean every field has separate application encryption: delivery information is protected through restricted database and application access. Public product images are intentionally public after approval.
Uploaded images are processed to remove embedded metadata before accepted copies are published or retained as evidence. Original uploads and accepted copies have different access and retention rules. No security system can guarantee zero risk. Report suspicious access promptly and do not share passwords, one-use links, authenticator codes or bank login details with support.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and marketplace information while needed to provide the service and maintain transaction history. Financial records, payout evidence, disputes, chargebacks, fraud investigations and audit records can need to remain after an account stops trading. We restrict access and review the need for retained information. We do not promise that closing an account erases an unsettled payment or a record we must keep.
Temporary original uploads are eligible for scheduled cleanup after a minimum 135-minute safety window; deletion depends on the cleanup job completing successfully. Accepted listing copies and private transaction evidence are separate records and are not removed by that temporary-upload rule. This service does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for all financial evidence. Backups and provider logs may retain restricted copies until their own applicable expiry.
Your choices and requests
You can update supported profile and contact details in your account. A phone change may require confirmation or security checks. Payout-account changes are versioned and require review; they do not rewrite an in-progress payment. Contact support to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, account closure, or an explanation of a decision. We may verify your identity before acting and explain if a transaction, security investigation or applicable record duty prevents part of the request. You can also use the deletion option in account settings after outstanding orders, bids, payments and disputes are resolved. Deleting an account removes its sign-in record and public listings while required transaction and audit records remain restricted.
The marketplace is for people aged 18 and over. Contact us if a child has provided information. You may choose not to provide optional fields; information necessary for payment, verified selling, bidding or transport must be provided to use those features. Essential authentication cookies are explained in our cookie notice.
Changes and concerns
We publish the version and effective date when this notice changes. Material new uses should be explained before they begin, with an appropriate choice where required. This notice describes our current service and does not remove any privacy right or obligation that applies under Trinidad and Tobago law. Contact the operator through the details above if you believe information has been mishandled.
