A few useful answers
Good questions, clear answers.
What does SellAnythingTT do?
We connect local buyers and sellers. For regular products, we review listings, collect sold items and deliver purchases. Vehicle ads work differently, buyers contact the seller directly and handle the vehicle sale independently.
How do garage sale albums work?
Sellers group up to fifty separately priced items under one album card in the Garage Sales tab. Buyers open the album to see each item and ask a question. Small and medium items use secure managed checkout. Large items need a separate delivery quote before purchase. Garage items do not clutter the main product feed.
Can I sell my car through normal checkout?
No. Vehicles are advertisements only. Sellers pay TT$99 once for listing review and publication. We charge no commission on the vehicle sale and do not collect the vehicle purchase price or manage vehicle transfer. Buyers contact sellers directly and should read the Vehicle Safety page before meeting or paying.
How do I create an account?
Select Create account at the top of the page. You can request an email sign-in link, choose email and password (minimum 8 characters), or use a social sign-in option if offered. Complete the on-screen account details and email verification steps. One free account lets you buy and sell. Additional security checks may be requested.
Is everything an auction?
No. Buy Now is the usual listing format. Sellers can request an auction, and sellanythingtt.com must approve auction mode separately before bidding opens.
Does each item have a TT$35 delivery charge?
No. TT$35 covers one eligible standard checkout to one address, even when you buy from more than one seller. Bulky goods or special handling require a separate quotation agreed before purchase.
Who collects the item from the seller?
sellanythingtt.com handles seller collection and transportation. Your agreed commission includes collection. See Fees for the current rate for new submissions.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Choose bank transfer at checkout and use the payment details and reference on your private order page. Our team confirms the actual bank credit. A proof-of-payment upload stays pending until that check is complete.
Will debit and credit cards be accepted?
Choose WiPay where the card option is offered. Card details are entered on WiPay’s secure page. For a vehicle ad, pay the TT$99 advertising fee plus WiPay’s processing fee, wait for confirmation, then submit the ad for review. The current estimated card total is TT$104.17. Bank transfer remains TT$99.
Will I pay an extra fee for using a card?
Yes. Customers cover WiPay’s processing fee, currently estimated at 3.5% of the order amount including delivery, plus TT$1.70. WiPay shows its final fee and total before payment. Seller commission is unchanged and no extra processing fee is deducted from seller earnings. Bank transfer has no platform processing fee. Your bank may charge its own fees. The same card-fee rule applies to vehicle advertisements and garage sale purchases.
Is WhatsApp verification required to sell?
No. Confirm your email to create an account and start selling. We may request additional verification when necessary for security or a specific transaction.
Can I contact support through WhatsApp?
Where WhatsApp support is available, you may use it voluntarily. Never share passwords, card details or one-time login codes in a message.
Do I need to provide my banking information before listing?
Yes. For ordinary products and garage sale items, securely register your bank account through Seller > Payout details. The account is encrypted, reviewed by finance and used only for electronic remittances. Vehicle advertisements are different: SellAnythingTT does not handle the vehicle purchase payment.
Can I pay a courier or use cash on delivery?
No. For products sold through our managed marketplace, buyers must pay SellAnythingTT through the supported electronic methods on their official order page. Couriers never accept or carry cash, request payment or collect bank transfers at delivery. Vehicle buyers and sellers arrange vehicle purchase transactions directly, outside our managed checkout.
When does the seller receive payment?
Only after the product sells, SellAnythingTT receives and clears the buyer payment, delivery is completed and the order passes required acceptance, reconciliation and hold checks. Seller proceeds, minus the agreed commission, are paid electronically to the seller's approved bank account. No cash payouts.
What if an item has a problem?
Report the issue through the order promptly. Our team reviews the transaction, evidence, and the applicable refund policy.
